MARRIAGE LICENSES
Marriage licenses are obtained at the Clerk of the Circuit Court, Marriage License Department in Sarasota between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm. The license is valid for 60 days. There is no waiting period for non-residents of Florida, nor blood tests. Florida residents have a choice of a 3 day waiting period or attending a 4 hour class.

BEACH PERMITS
Beach Permits must be obtained through Sarasota County Parks and Recreation before ceremony can be held. Beach Permits are on a first come first serve basis and they fill up quickly. You may contact Parks and Recreation directly at: 941-861-7275 and can purchase your permit with a major credit card over the phone. We are happy to pick up the permit for you and our staff will have on hand on the day of ceremony.
